THE RESONANCE OF SECLUSION
NORTH WEST TOUR
Director: Liz Postlethwaite
Set & Costume Designer: Lara Booth
' The Resonance of Seclusion is a tender touch to the story of a life dedicated to painting and drawing that asks interesting questions about art and creativity.
The story is based on the life and work of Joash Woodrow and focuses mostly on the care and consideration of his brother Saul and his wife Sylvia in the years after Joash had become quite reclusive.
The performance itself is simply set with basic props- a moveable easel , books, pencils, and paintbrushes and three stark wooden moveable boxes, the larger of the two serving as tables and containing the props and a book shelf.'
